PURPOSE: A sensor node operating method for improving transmission efficiency according to the temperature variation is provided to control the transmission power level of a wireless unit in the sensor node, thereby improving the transmission efficiency according to the temperature variation. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor in a sensor unit measures the temperature of the sensor node(S200). A micro processor unit analyzes the generated temperature data of the temperature sensor. The microprocessor unit decides the temperature change of the sensor node. The microprocessor unit controls the transmission power value the wireless unit(S300). The transceiving cycle value of the network management message within the microprocessor unit is set to a low-speed cycle value(S400).
