PURPOSE: A method for preparing potassium nitrate using waste etching solution is provided to obtain industrial potassium nitrate of high purity.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing potassium nitrate using a waste etching solution comprises: a step of removing insoluble particle ingredients in the waste etching solution; a step of heating a pure etching solution at high temperature under the compressive condition; a step of isolating into mixed acid gas and phosphoric acid solution; a step of cooling mixed acid gas to convert to mixed liquid; a step of adding potassium hydroxide to generate potassium nitrate; a step of preparing mixture solution containing acetic acid and potassium nitrate; a step of heating the mixture solution at high temperature under the compressive condition to separate evaporated acetic acid and liquid potassium nitrate; a step of cooling liquid potassium nitrate to obtain solid potassium nitrate; and a step of performing dehydration to separate liquid potassium nitrate and solid potassium nitrate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
