PURPOSE: A method for preparing austenitic oxide dispersion strengthened steel using mechanical alloying is provided to ensure high creep strength of steel even under high temperature and prevent the loss of materials caused oxidization. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing austenitic oxide dispersion strengthened steel using mechanical alloying comprises steps of: mixing metal oxide powder with metal powder having an austenite phase, forming metal alloy through mechanical alloying of the mixed powder, and forming a sintered body by pressure-sintering the metal alloy in a vacuum condition, wherein the metal powder comprises Ni 15~25 weight%, Cr 10~20 weight%, Mn 1~3 weight%, Mo 1~3 weight%, Al 1~4 weight%, and Fe of the rest amount.
