摘要

PURPOSE: A removal method of nitrite nitrogen using denitrifying bacteria through a post-denitrification process, and an apparatus thereof are provided to use sulfur for removing nitrogen from wastewater. CONSTITUTION: A removal method of nitrite nitrogen using denitrifying bacteria through a post-denitrification process comprises the following steps: removing organic materials from wastewater containing ammonia nitrogen; partially nitrating the ammonia nitrogen to remove 50~70% as nitrite nitrogen, and removing the balance as nitrate nitrogen; reacting the wastewater with methanol for 10~30minutes, to remove dissolved oxygen and organic compounds; and removing the residual nitrite nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen inside a sulfur-oxidizing denitrification tank.
