PURPOSE: A metal paste composition for forming an electrode, a silver-carbon composite electrode using thereof, and a silicon solar cell are provided to reduce the amount of silver used for manufacturing the electrode without reducing the capacity of the electrode.;CONSTITUTION: A metal paste composition for forming an electrode contains glass frit powder, silver powder, an organic binder, and carbon-based material powder. Less than 25 parts of carbon-based material powder by weight is mixed with 100 parts of silver powder by weight. A silicon solar cell includes a silicon semiconductor substrate, an emitter layer formed on the substrate, an anti-reflective layer formed on the emitter layer, a front electrode connected to the emitter layer by penetrating the anti-reflective layer, and a rear electrode connected to the rear side of the substrate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
