摘要
PURPOSE: A bipropellant rocket engine using heat of hydrogen peroxide decomposition and a propulsion method thereof are provided to maximize the perfect combustion rate of fuel and improve ignition reliability because a separate ignition device is unnecessary.;CONSTITUTION: A bipropellant rocket engine using heat of hydrogen peroxide decomposition comprises a reactor(1400), a supply inlet(1320), an injector(1340), a fuel supply pipe(1310), a propellant feed unit(1300), a combustion chamber(1600), and an injection nozzle(1700). The reactor is filled with catalyst coated with active material which reacts with hydrogen peroxide. The supply inlet and the injector are connected to the hydrogen peroxide storage tank and the fuel tank. The fuel supply pipe is extended from the central part of the supply inlet. The propellant feed unit supplies hydrogen peroxide to the reactor through the injector. The combustion chamber buns the fuel vaporized by decomposition reaction heating.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
