The invention relates to a novel method for analysing molecular pollutants in a fluid. The method comprises, based on the calibrated flow of the fluid, carrying out the combined measurement of the total amount of molecular pollutants and the determination of the chemical compositions and relative amounts of molecular pollutants by adsorption on materials, the determination of the chemical compositions and relative amounts being advantageously carried out after a threshold value for the total measured amount is exceeded.
