AUTHENTICATION METHOD, SYSTEM AND TERMINAL FOR WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK AUTHENTICATION AND PRIVACY INFRASTRUCTURE (WAPI) TERMINAL ACCESSING IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM (IMS) NETWORK
An authentication method, system and terminal for wireless local area network authentication and privacy infrastructure (WAPI) terminal accessing an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network are provided. The method includes the following steps: the correspondence between the internet protocol multimedia subsystem private user identity (IMPI) of the internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) user and its WAPI certificate, and the correspondence between the IMPI and the authentication service unit (ASU) corresponding to the IMS user are pre-established in the home subscriber server (HSS); when the IMS user accesses the IMS network via the WAPI terminal, the WAPI terminal, using the identification information of the WAPI certificate of the IMS user as the IMS public user identity (IMPU), sends registration message to a serving-call session control function (S-CSCF) entity, and the message also carries the WAPI certificate of the IMS user and the user signature; after the S-CSCF receives the registration message, the S-CSCF searches the corresponding IMPI in the HSS based on the information in the certificate, then searches the ASU corresponding to the IMS user based on the IMPI; the ASU and the S-CSCF authenticate the WAPI certificate and the user signature respectively, and when all the authentications are passed, return the registration success response to the IMS user.
