A muscle synergy analyzer (1), comprising: a myoelectric meter (10) for detecting myoelectric signals generated by individual muscles in antagonistic muscle pairs at a definite motion site of the human body; an antagonistic muscle ratio-computing unit (202) for computing, as time-series data, the antagonistic muscle ratios at the myoelectric signal level of the antagonistic muscle pairs from the myoelectric signals that are detected by the myoelectric meter (10) during a definite motion of the human body; and a primary main component-analyzing unit (203) for conducting multivariable analysis using, as the variables, the antagonistic muscle ratios at the individual points in the time-series data and thus computing the main components including at least a primary main component showing a high degree of contribution to the correlation. Thus, intrinsic muscle synergies being in the muscle coordination relation are obtained for each definite motion of the subject and multivariable analysis is conducted so that the motion can be evaluated with the use of only a small number of main components.
