The passenger ticket vending device of the present invention comprises: a first communications interface unit for communicating with an external device; a first input unit which is used in order to receive input in the form of information or to receive selections in the form of specific functions from users, and which has a call-out means for calling out members of staff; a first control unit which effects overall control of the passenger ticket vending device, such that a staff-member call-out request message is transmitted via the first communications interface unit to the external device when there is input from the call-out means of the first input unit; a first display unit for displaying image signals in accordance with the control by the control unit; a first speaker for outputting sound-source signals; a first microphone for inputting sound-source signals; and a first voice processing unit for converting voice signals input from the first microphone into digitized sound-source signals and relaying the same to the first control unit, or else outputting the digitized sound-source signals via the first speaker.
