This invention relates to the process by which the momentum of the flow of the river is harvested to generate electricity. This invention also relates to the process by which the flow of the whole of the cross section of the river is used to generate electricity without creating a high water jet as produced through the construction of a Dam. This invention also relates to the process and combination of shaft and wheels by which the angular velocity of the rotating shaft is transformed from a small value to a higher velocity capable of being used by the generator of a hydel power plant.
