METHODOLOGY FOR THE SELECTION OF HYDROELECTRIC APPLICATIONS WITH FUZZY LOGIC APPLICATION. Brazil is a country that has one of the cleanest energy matrices in the world, with 43.8% of renewable energy in the total energy consumed worldwide. Analyzing the Brazilian Electric Matrix, it appears that renewable sources of energy correspond to approximately 73% of this production, with approximately 70%, referring to the great Brazilian hydraulic potential. With the increase in energy demand together with the regulatory incentives offered by the Federal Government for the decentralized generation of electric energy in the country, Small Hydroelectric Plants (PCH's) have become attractive to investors. However, the definition of the Brazilian potential for SHP is not a simple task and the difficulty of locating and obtaining its technical, environmental and financial viability from these projects is also a complex task. In this sense, what is intended here, by means of this invention, is to propose a methodology, based on the Fuzzy logic, for analyzing the technical feasibility of any potential (SHP), determining how good or not a use is, based on some physical characteristics, thus obtaining technical quality indexes for hydroelectric projects.
