PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-supervisory control system capable of improving the responsibility of a supervisory/a control while inhibiting an entire traffic, a center server, an equipment-supervisory controller, and a communication method.;SOLUTION: The remote-supervisory control system 1 has the equipment-supervisory controllers 10 supervising and/or controlling equipments 11 through communication lines 12. The control system 1 further has a system center 13 storing a supervisory requirement and/or a control requirement transmitted through a network 17 from terminal devices 16, while containing the center server returning a communication signal storing the supervisory requirement and/or the control requirement, when the supervisory requirement and/or the control requirement is stored in response to an inquiry inquiring the presence of the supervisory requirement and/or the control requirement periodically transmitted through the network 17 from the equipment-supervisory controllers 10.
