PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide marshmallow water-soluble with ease having dissolving properties and suitable for eating through putting on beverage to dissolve. PSOLUTION: The marshmallow has water activity of ≥0.70 Aw, and a discoid shape having an almost round outward form when viewed in a plane. The longitudinal section shape of the end face of the disc is a curved surface. The marshmallow dissolves in hot coffee surface and forms a layer of a uniform thickness, and enables supplying marshmallow coffee with soft palate feeling.
