PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely strengthen synergetically the antimicrobial activity of an antibacterial agent against bacteria causing armpit smell by using a cooling agent such as menthol, menthylglyceryl ether or camphor, together with a 4-isothiazolin-3-one compound, even though not using the conventional medicines for preventing body smell.;SOLUTION: An antibacterial agent against bacteria causing armpit smell formed by containing 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and/or 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (A) and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of menthol, menthylglyceryl ether and camphor (B); and a preventive of armpit smell or an external preparation for the skin blended with the antibacterial agent against bacteria causing armpit smell; are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
