PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel bar for reinforced concrete, which can keep track of the quality at the time of production on a single rod basis, and is excellent in reliability.;SOLUTION: The individual steel bar 1 for reinforced concrete has identification marks 4 indicated thereon, and therefore after a bundle of the steel bars is released, each steel bar can be collated with a steel inspection certificate 11 on a single rod basis, which allows to easily keep track of its origin and the quality at the time of production in various circumstances. Further the identification marks 4 are not made by coating or inscription but by rolling so as to be bulged, and therefore not only the strength of the steel bar 1 is not degraded, but also the marks do not disappear with the lapse of time. Accordingly until the time comes when the steel bar is finally disposed of, its traceability is established, and therefore it is excellent in various aspects such as in improved reliability and in sorting in recycling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
