PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for providing useful information interlockingly with a query designated by a user.;SOLUTION: A query analysis device analyzes a genre of the query designated in a retrieval service. Therefor, the query analysis device includes: a site classification database wherein domain information of sites disclosed on the Internet is previously classified by genre and are registered; a related page extraction means calculating selection frequency of each retrieval result based on a click log to the query designated in the retrieval service, and extracting a Web page having high relevance to the query from the selection frequency; and a genre determination means deciding the genre of the query based on the domain information of each Web page extracted by the related page extraction means, and the genre associated to the domain information registered in the site classification database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
