PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping composition for high temperature, which is further improved in vibration-damping properties at high temperature, to provide a vibration-damping base material for high temperature and a method for using the base material, and to provide a vibration-damping sheet for high temperature and a method for using the sheet.;SOLUTION: The vibration-damping composition for high temperature comprises a heat-fusible resin containing a first polymer having a melting point higher than normal temperature, a tackifier and a filler, wherein the heat-fusible resin exhibits vibration-damping properties at a temperature close to its melting point. The vibration-damping sheet 1 for high temperature includes a vibration-damping base material 2 for high temperature, obtained by forming the vibration-damping composition for high temperature into a sheet-like shape, and a restraining layer 3 which is laminated on one surface of the base material 2. The method for using the damping sheet 1 for high temperature includes heating the vibration-damping sheet 1 to a temperature higher than melting point of the heat-fusible resin and bonding the heated sheet 1 onto a thin plate 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
