PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for automatically adding an index term of a retrieval database.;SOLUTION: This automatic index word adding method of a retrieval database includes the stages for: inputting a first retrieval query from a user; providing at least one first indexed result sentence by using the first retrieval query from the retrieval database; inputting a second retrieval query after the input of the first retrieval query from the user; providing at least one indexed second result sentence by using the second retrieval query from the retrieval database; receiving a selection request for at least one result sentence among at least one second result sentences from the user; and adding the first retrieval query as an index word of at least one second result sentence to the retrieval database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
