PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mold powder which hardly causes seizure phenomena in spite of its high viscosity.;SOLUTION: The ratio CaO/SiO2 of a CaO component (wt.%) to an SiO2 component (wt.%) satisfies the condition: 0.8≤CaO/SiO2≤1.2. A Li2O component (wt.%) satisfies the condition: 2.0≤Li2O≤5.0. Li2O/Na2O is 10.0 or more. A solidification temperature TLL(°C) satisfies the condition: 1,135≤TLL≤1,185.
