METHOD FOR PURIFYING DRINKING WATER USING NANOFILTER COATED WITH ULTRA-FINE FERROMAGNETIC FERRITE, METHOD FOR STERILIZING HARMFUL BACTERIA CONTAINED IN DRINKING WATER USING THE NANO FILTER AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING DRINKING WATER THROUGH REMOVAL AND STERILIZATION OF HARMFUL MATTER BY USING THE NANO FILTER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method of purifying drinking water which removes reliably aggregates contained especially in drinking water and consisting of iron ingredients coagulated with harmful matter, e.g. arsenic and contained in drinking water with a simple and low-cost configuration by utilizing magnetic rays generated from the surface of a nano filter consisting of a nonwoven fabric coated with an ultra-fine ferromagnetic ferrite.;SOLUTION: The method of purifying drinking water involves coating an ultra-fine ferrite of particle sizes of 5-30 nm to a filter material consisting of a nonwoven fabric so as to form a nano filter coated with the ultra-fine ferromagnetic ferrite and radiating magnetic rays from the surface, immersing the nano filter in drinking water and leaving the nano filter standing still for a certain time to make the magnetic rays act on coagulated matter containing arsenic and its compounds coagulated on iron ingredients in drinking water and magnetized so as to adsorb the coagulated matter with the nano filter coated with the ultra-fine ferromagnetic ferrite and thereby purify drinking water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
