PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS satellite signal quality monitoring method and a GPS satellite signal quality monitoring apparatus having a GPS satellite signal quality monitoring function which detects signal distortion caused by a fault in a GPS satellite and determines how much error has been detected by the signal distortion as an actual numerical value by a single GPS receiver.;SOLUTION: The GPS satellite signal quality monitoring method generates a C/A code corresponding to a GPS satellite which is desired to be captured in the GPS receiver, establishes a correlation between the C/A code and a C/A code of a reception signal, dissolves insensitivity by making a combination of correlated points which is not bilaterally symmetric using a correlated value on a tracking point, watches the signal distortion, determines a difference in distance measured value between the intersection point of the correlated points and the tracking point, and determines how much error has been detected by the signal distortion as an actual numerical value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
