PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content management system and a method capable of flexibly processing each stage of a workflow. PSOLUTION: A method for dynamically adapting a workflow of the content management system includes: a step for setting an action permitted for a user; a step for generating at least one information item depending on the permitted action in which the at least one information item including a content to be published and a first information item status level indicative of a present status level of the content within the workflow; a step for storing the at least one information item; and a step for dynamically executing the workflow including stages each corresponding to each information item status level. A succeeding stage of the workflow is determined depending on a combination of different types of user status information indicative of a status of the user and the first information item status level.
