PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously visualize and measure velocity fields in the vicinity of a surface at any location separated from both of the velocity fields and the surface by a simultaneous and combined use of pressure-sensitive paint coating measurement and particle image velocimetry.;SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive paint coating substrate 2 to which pressure-sensitive paint is applied is arranged in an inner wall surface of a channel 1. An excitation light source 3 irradiates excitation light to a coating surface of the pressure-sensitive paint and simultaneously irradiates a laser beam to a hydrogen bubbles 5a. A high-speed, high-sensitivity camera 10 receives and images emission light from the coating surface of the pressure-sensitive paint, and a high-speed, high-sensitivity camera 11 receives and images a laser beam from the hydrogen bubbles 5a as the emission light from the coating surface of the pressure-sensitive paint and the laser beam from the hydrogen bubbles 5a remain dispersed by a dichroic mirror 8. Both high-speed, high-sensitivity cameras 10 and 11 are configured in such a way as to be synchronized to receive and image each light.
