PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control technique for machine tools, which is capable of alleviating a sudden stop of a machine tool and a resulting impact, and matching a machine control position (coordinates) of the machine tool when it is decelerated and stopped with an actual machine position.;SOLUTION: When a stop command is inputted, it is determined whether a remaining move distance calculated from a remaining move command which is not output in a move command buffer is equal to or less than a deceleration and stop distance required for decelerating and stopping at a deceleration rate A, and if No, the move command in the move command buffer is output as it is, while if Yes, a deceleration move command is generated from the remaining move command and is output.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
