PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a breaking-news receiver receives the same breaking news based on the same earthquake a plurality of times, and consequently, thus making the viewers of the receiver feel the notifications bothersome or unnecessarily stirring worry.;SOLUTION: A breaking-news receiver 1 has receiving parts 3, 11 for receiving a plurality of breaking-news data in which contents of breaking news are digitized as data on the basis of a plurality of coding systems, a format conversion part 15 for converting the breaking-news data into new breaking-news data on the basis of a specific coding system, a storage part 17 for sequentially storing the new breaking-news data, a control part 20 for comparing the sequentially-stored new breaking-news data with each other, and notification parts 8, 9 for notifying the content of the breaking news from the new breaking-news data on the basis of the comparison result by the control part 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
