PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external light shielding film including a substrate made of transparent resin and an external light shielding pattern provided with a plurality of external light shielding patterns which are formed on one side surface of the substrate and are made of a light absorbing member, to provide a method of manufacturing the external light shielding film, and to provide a filter for display apparatus having the external light shielding film.;SOLUTION: The light absorbing member includes a resin containing a light absorbing material and is characterized in that at least one value of concentration of the light absorbing material in the external light shields and refractive index of the resin is varied stepwise. In the external light shielding film, by filling the light absorbing material through a plurality of filling processes, external environmental light is prevented from entering a panel assembly, the contrast ratio of bright room and the visibility in the display apparatus is improved and, finally, the display quality is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
