PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program for calculating offset error information and sensitivity error information of an acceleration sensor, based on the detection information obtained, regardless of the orientation of the acceleration sensor, and to provide an information storage medium, an error measurement method for acceleration sensors, an error-measuring device and a game system. PSOLUTION: Six sets of acceleration information, based on the detected information of an acceleration sensor 20, are substituted into a variable of an equation of an ellipsoid, including six parameters corresponding to the sensitivities and offsets in the three detection axis detections of the acceleration sensor 20 orthogonal to one another that form simultaneous quadratic equations with the six parameters as the unknowns. The simultaneous quadratic equations are reduced to simultaneous linear equations, with each being represented by an equation with at least one of the six unknowns and containing five new unknowns, and the simultaneous linear equations are solved. The original six unknowns are calculated based on the five new unknowns, and offset error information and sensitivity error information of the three detection axis directions of the acceleration sensor are calculated, based on the calculation results.
