PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irreversible temperature indicator which does not require an increased number of manufacturing steps even if a meltable composition such as wax is used, is high in concealing a lower layer when the indicator is not yet used, and is high in convenience for providing splendid change in color tone when the wax is melted; and an irreversible temperature indicator set furnished with writing things with which the writing can be carried out on the indicator and which can retain written letters for a long term.;SOLUTION: The irreversible temperature indicator 1 includes a porous layer which is adhered on a colored support 2 to have a state that a wax being meltable at a specific temperature and a pigment having a low refractive index are dispersed in a binder resin, wherein the porous layer is a melting transmission porous layer 3 which is opaque in a state of solidified wax and clarified in that of melted wax. The indicator set includes the irreversible temperature indicator 1 and a writing thing 7 comprising a liquid composition in which a solid having a refractive index of 1.3-1.8 is dissolved in a liquid medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
