PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or kit to perform the better diagnosis of the advance degree of diabetic nephropathy, especially primary nephropathy, a substance serving as the index of the advance degree of diabetic nephropathy, and a method for sorting the substance.;SOLUTION: In the method for detecting the advance degree of diabetic nephropathy, the measurement of interaction with lectin is performed with respect to a sample originating from a subject to measure the amount of a sugar chain having affinity to lectin, and the advance degree of diabetic nephropathy is detected on the basis of the measured amount of the sugar chain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
