PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve chemical nuclear fusion reaction in liquid metal to guarantee the persistence of reaction needed for energy extraction, which is not easily achieved by the chemical nuclear fusion reaction that uses low-speed ions projected onto the surface of liquid metal lithium, which is enhanced in astronomical quantities by thermodynamic effect of linked atomic fusion process, because the chemical nuclear fusion reaction is sensitive to conditions of the metal surface.SOLUTION: A fusion chain reaction is induced by starting nuclear reaction that generates neutrons and charged particles in a liquid lithium alloy in which a light element such as beryllium is mixed. Since, in the present invention, the liquid lithium carries out four functions: as nuclear fusion fuel, solvent for a mixed light element, a neutron moderator, and coolant, the nuclear fusion reaction device can be significantly made simple and compact. In addition, it eliminates the need to worry about radioactive wastes.
