Foundation straightening device for masonry construction, has hydraulic jack inserted between cast in-situ reinforced concrete block and foundation that includes concrete connection rupture and crack formation of superstructure walls
The device has a hydraulic jack (7) e.g. bottle jack, inserted between a cast in-situ reinforced concrete block (5) and an existing foundation (1), where the foundation comprises a concrete connection rupture and crack formation of superstructure walls (2). Two iron bearing plates (6) distribute compressive forces actuated by the hydraulic jack on the reinforced concrete block and on the foundation to be lifted. The reinforced concrete block is vibrated in situ and used as a seat for the hydraulic jack. Undermining of land forms a shaftway (3) to bearing soil (4) under the foundation.
