The assembly has rods (1) assembled with each other, where the rods have a tube (2) including an end equipped with a male coupling end piece (3). Another end of the tube equipped with a female coupling end piece (4). The end pieces are equipped with threads for assembling the rods. The end pieces are made of metallic alloy, where the end pieces have mechanical resistance comprised between 1500 mega pascal and 1800 mega pascal. The end pieces are made of thermally treated 42CD4 steel, and the rods are made of boron, nitrogen or hydrogen. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rod assembly.
