Safety device for protecting compressed gas tank of vehicle during fire, has rupture unit comprising end placed against support element, where periphery of element has claw shaped elastic arms hooked in wall of ventilation chamber
The device (1) has a thermal trigger installation (2) including a closure unit (3) installed in a ventilation duct (4), where the closure unit is in the form of a cap. The closure unit is supported against a rupture unit (8) that is in the form of a hollow glass bulb and placed in a ventilation chamber (9). The rupture unit has an end placed against a support element (10) e.g. elastic disk or plate, in the ventilation chamber. Periphery of the support element comprises claw shaped elastic arms (12) that are hooked in a wall of the ventilation chamber.
