The equipment (50) has a video processing circuit (CMH) connected to an image sensor (IMS) by a distal multicore cable (5). The video processing circuit provides a composite normalized analog video signal (16) directly exploitable by a video monitor on a low impedance video connection of a proximal multicore cable i.e. flexible umbilical cable (9), receives a direct current (DC) supply voltage (27) by voltage supply connections of the proximal multicore cable, and receives a control signal by a bidirectional series connection (24) of the proximal multicore cable. An independent claim is also included for an exploitation equipment for a videoendoscopic system.
