Axle system i.e. steering axle system, for supporting steering wheel of vehicle i.e. electric propulsion vehicle, has connecting elements connected together by linkage mechanism to impose coordinated movement of connecting elements
The system has arms (5a, 5b, 5c) for allowing rotation of a steering wheel (3). A casing (1) is fixed to a vehicle structure by the arms, and forms a hub carrier. Each of the arms is connected to the casing by an axial end through joints (7a, 7b, 7c), and is connected to the vehicle structure by another axial end through connecting elements (6a, 6b, 6c). The connecting elements are connected together by a linkage mechanism (11) to impose a coordinated movement of the connecting elements. An electric motor (2) in the casing is connected to the wheel for rotating the wheel.
