The method involves determining an obstacle presence zone (700) by analyzing a communication quality between emitter and receiver devices (180, 140). Receiving quality level values are obtained by the receiver device receiving a signal emitted by the emitter device. A communication path is determined by selecting an antenna orientation angle, in angular observation ranges (709, 712), for which the quality level value is greater than a preset threshold. The obstacle determination, obtaining of level values and path determination are performed for establishing communication between the devices. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for determining a communication path in a wireless communication network (2) a storage medium comprising instructions for performing a method for determining a communication path in a wireless communication network (3) a device for determining a communication path in a wireless communication network, comprising a determination unit.
