The method involves applying effort law on a motor vehicle in case of frontal impact based on depression of a platform of the vehicle. Evolution phases, are defined, evaluating absorbing of energy of frontal impact affecting front zone (3), zone (4) and other zone in which a characteristic of over hang and front bumper (5), size and position of an engine (6) and a gear box, and architecture of front cradle (7) and a front gear (8) are stored. An absorbable energy is calculated in each phase.
