Aircraft i.e. airplane, has altitude control unit including adding unit for adding constant supplementary value to position commands of trimming device based on structural parameters and flight parameters of aircraft
The aircraft has a trimming device for trimming a lift, and an automatic piloting system (PA) including a control unit (MCA) for controlling altitude of the aircraft. A development unit (MECP) develops position commands of the lift and develops position commands of the trimming device. The altitude control unit includes an adding unit (MA) for adding a constant supplementary value (VA) to the position commands of the trimming device based on structural parameters and flight parameters of the aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a method for piloting an aircraft using an automatic piloting system.
