Testing device for measuring sliding and rubbing effects of movable cylindrical object moved in receptacle i.e. tube, has measuring units to measure compression efforts and effects of imposed movement conditions
The device (1) has a displacement unit for applying relative displacement between a sector i.e. insert (2), at an inner side of a tube and a structure i.e. dummy bar (3), for sliding the sector against the structure under compression efforts based on imposed movement conditions, where the structure represents a segment of an external cylinder of an object introduced into the tube. The displacement unit is formed of a hoist (6) and a cable (7). Measuring units (13, 36) e.g. effort sensor, measure the compression efforts and effects of the movement conditions.
