Road vehicle i.e. truck trailer, displacement and positions monitoring system, for use in parking area on harbor, has association module to associate data delivered by characterization unit with data delivered by vehicle monitoring unit
The system has a vehicle characterization unit arranged at proximity or at inside of a transit area (20) for characterizing a vehicle e.g. trailer (31). A data processing unit (15) i.e. computer, is connected to the characterization unit and a vehicle monitoring unit. A synchronization module synchronizes data transmitted to the data processing unit by the characterization unit and the vehicle monitoring unit. An association module associates the data delivered by the characterization unit with data delivered by the vehicle monitoring unit.
