Motor vehicle e.g. private car, has gateway for transforming message received according to cellular telephone communication protocol into message sent according to short range wireless communication protocol
The vehicle (1) has nomad electronic equipments e.g. portable computer (11), printer (12) and portable telephone (13), communicated according to a short range wireless communication protocol. A gateway (10) transforms a message received from one of the equipments according to the short range protocol into a message sent according to a cellular telephone communication protocol. The gateway transforms a message received according to the cellular telephone communication protocol into a message sent according to the short range protocol to a destination of one of the equipments. An independent claim is also included for a method for communicating between an electronic equipment of a motor vehicle and a fixed room.
