Catenary system's contact wires pulling device for use on railway track, has hydraulic jack supplied with driving fluid, whose vapor pressure is generated by temperature of fluid at value corresponding to pressure
The device has a hydraulic jack (1) supplied with a high vapor pressure fluid i.e. driving fluid (6), whose vapor pressure is generated by a temperature of the fluid at a value corresponding to the pressure. The fluid is chosen among less toxic and inflammable fluids such as refrigerant. Pressurized heat insulating tank (3) is filled with either driving fluid, or the driving fluid and a hydraulic fluid separated by an elastic membrane (5). A rupture disc (16) passes the fluid towards atmosphere once the pressure exceeds a burst pressure.
