Information transmission system for e.g. fighting ship, has reception unit comprising information filtering unit to filter information received across main and redundant networks to retain information arrived in premier by one of networks
The system has units forming an information transmission network (1) e.g. Ethernet or Internet protocol type network, comprising a main network (3) and a redundant network (4). Functional members have information transmission unit including an information duplication unit (8) for duplicating the information to be transmitted on the main network and the redundant network. Information reception unit includes an information filtering unit (11) for filtering the information received across the networks to retain the information arrived in premier by one of the networks.
