Weakness zone e.g. crack, monitoring device for e.g. building, has actuation unit actuating movable rods based on temperature of rods, and elimination unit removing displacement of rods due to temperature measurements
The device has anchors (12a, 12b) anchored on a structure on both sides of a weakness zone i.e. crack (2), where the anchors ere moved with respect to each other. A displacement sensor includes movable rods (11a, 11b) connected with the anchors and delivery units for delivering measurements representing a relative displacement of the rods. A temperature sensor (13) delivers measurements representative of temperature of the rods and an actuation unit actuates the rods based on the temperature. An elimination unit eliminates the displacement of the rods due to the temperature measurements.
