Method for Determining Physicochemical Properties of a Petroleum Sample from Two-Dimensional Gas Chromatography The quantities of n molecular compounds present in the sample were determined by means of two-dimensional gas chromatography. Then, at least one physical property, such as octane number, is determined from these quantities. To do this we use a previously calibrated relationship, which links the physical property to the quantities.
