The brake assembly has units for regulation of braking and drive slip and for autonomous brake pressure regulation, and a pressure reducing valve (4) is provided in intake line (3), with which opened transfer valve (1) throttles or separates during manipulation of a master cylinder (17) of a hydraulic connection of the master cylinder to the suction face of a piston pump (2).
