Sheet metal stack of soft magnetic single sheet metal, useful e.g. in an injector, comprises first longitudinal side, second longitudinal side opposing first longitudinal side, first broadside, and second broadside opposing first broadside
Sheet metal stack of soft magnetic single sheet metal (18), where the single sheet metal is involutely bent, comprises a first longitudinal side, a second longitudinal side opposing the first longitudinal side, a first broadside, and a second broadside opposing the first broadside, where: the first longitudinal side exhibits a recess, the recess is in rectangular from in the unbent condition of the single sheet metal and the distance between the first broadside, second broad side and the second longitudinal side is same. Independent claims are included for: (1) an electromagnetic actuator comprising a soft magnetic core (11), where the soft magnetic core has the sheet metal stack; (2) a process for the preparation of the sheet metal stack comprising producing and molding the soft magnetic single sheet metals, bending the single sheet metals, where the single sheet metals are bent involutely, and forming the layers of the single sheet metals to obtain the sheet metal stack; (3) a process for the preparation of an electromagnetic actuator comprising producing the sheet metal stack and molding the soft magnetic core for the electromagnetic actuator from the sheet metal stack; and (4) a process for the preparation of an injector to control the fuel quantity to be fed into an internal combustion engine comprising producing the sheet metal stack and molding the soft magnetic core for the electromagnet coil system of the injector from the sheet metal stack.
