The arrangement (10) has a cross beam (12) connectable with a longitudinal beam over a crash box (14). A retaining element (26) is arranged at the crash box and at the cross beam, for attaching a lighting unit to the crash box. The retaining element is connectable with a retaining arm (38) of a housing of the lighting unit. A bumper cladding includes a connection element insertable into a receiving opening of the retaining element. The retaining arm is lockable in another receiving opening of the retaining element.
