Bristle filaments processing method for e.g. toothbrush, involves applying bristle filaments to free ends, where bristle filaments are shifted in vibration by ultrasonic waves, and mechanically processed by application and vibration
The method involves applying a bristle filament (7) to free ends. The bristle filament is shifted in vibration with respect to ultrasonic waves. The bristle filament is mechanically processed by the application and the vibration. The free ends of the bristle filament are individually inserted into recesses (5) of a sonotrode (1) as an application element, where the sonotrode is made of porous stainless steel. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing bristle filaments.
